what does TD,LM.. mean when we receive commercial sms from companies for ex. MM-Facebook

Hello friends , friends if you live in India so you may receive sms from bank, company and other recognized organizations, this message not show any number it’s so only company name but after TA,AT,VK, LM, and etc.
Normally these sms’s originated from a bulk sms provider they use minimum 9 digit alpha or Number
Example- If Google sends an SMS to you using bulk SMS provider located at Mumbai which uses Loop Telecom and BPL you will receive it as LM-Google First character specifies which service provider the message is being originated & the second character specifies from which location it’s originated.
